Frequently Asked Questions

What should I wear?

Closed toe shoes and long pants must be worn. Please be advised that shorts should not be worn as the dingoes may jump and scratch you. If they are worn you will be required to sign a waiver.

Where does the donations go?

Our sanctuary is run by a team of volunteers and all donations support the Australian Dingo Foundation.

Why is the donation so high?

Short answer, it’s not! For the experience you are getting this is a very good price. Comparable experiences for the length of time you spend with the dingoes at our sanctuary don’t exist but for some zoos or sanctuaries you will pay upwards of $80 for entry and for a 15 minute encounter with one or two dingoes! Our visits go for 1 – 1.5 hours and you get to spend the majority of it with dingoes up close!

Can I get there by public transport?

There are no public transport options to the sanctuary unfortunately. The closest train stations are Diggers Rest or Sunbury station. Please contact us as we may be able to assist with transport options.
