#Kids4Dingos letter to parliament competition!
We invite school teachers and educators to encourage their students to participate in our exciting contest. This is a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their writing skills while supporting dingo conservation efforts.
How to enter
Write your letter: You can visit dingofoundation.org/kids to view a template with some key points (you can click around our dingo profiles too for inspiration).
Submit your letter and/or artwork by 31 October 024: kids4dingos@outlook.com
- In your subject line, please include: School name and School state/territory
- In your email, please include:Child’s First Name and Child’s Age
Win prizes for your school
All entries will be reviewed, and one lucky winner will receive a framed dingo photo by photographer Dave Sanderson that has been recognised by Australian Geographic.
The top three letters will win a class Zoom presentation, or a family ticket to meet Wandi at the Dingo Discovery Centre (transport not included).
Support dingo conservation
By participating, you’re not just entering a contest — you’re also helping to raise awareness about dingoes. As part of the letter, students may wish to include a drawing of their favourite dingo. We will share drawing entries on our social media channels and with politicians to support dingo conservation efforts.
Sharing the creativity
We will feature many of the drawings on our social media channels to showcase the incredible talent and support from students across the country.

Conditions for entry:
- The contest is open to students in Australia.
- Each entry must be submitted by a teacher or school educator with the child’s parent/career permission.
- Entries must be original letter and/or artwork created by the student.
- By submitting, you agree to allow us to share the artwork on our social media channels and the letter with Australian parliaments and ministers.
- Entries must be received by the closing date (30 October 2024).
- The winners will be notified in November 2024
